Bikaner, was once a barren wilderness before Rao Bika established the city in 15th Century. Today, Bikaner is a famous for one of the biggest forts in Rajasthan - Junagarh Fort. DETAILED RAJASTHAN ITINERARY - Short Rajasthan Tour
DAY 1
Assistance upon arrival at Delhi International Airport & transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day free for relexation. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 2
Breakfast at the hotel followed by half day guided tour of Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar, India Gate followed by Rickshawride in the bustling market of Old Delhi. Later in the day, continue your drive towards Jaipur (260 Kms / 5 Hours)
DAY 3
After breakfast, take an excursion to Amber (The ancient capital of Rajasthan). Enjoy an Elephant ride at Amber fort & while returning, take a photo stop at Jal Mahal a.k.a Water Palace. Later in the day after lunch, take a Unique Heritage Walking Tour of Jaipur revealing the local Art, Culture, Religions, Architecture & lives of people. In the evening, return to hotel & stay overnight.
DAY 4
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel & drive to Bikaner (300 Kms / 5 Hours). Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel & later take a guided city tour of Bikaner. Visit one of the most fascinating forts of Rajasthan - Junagarh Fort. Decorated with rich history & fine art work, this fort will definitely take you back to the era of Royals. spend rest of the evening a your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 5
Morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel & drive to Jaisalmer (330 Kms / 6 Hours). En-route visit one of its only kinds temple - Rat Temple. Also visit Camel breeding farm where different breeds of camels are bred under the same roof. Upon arrival at Jaisalmer, Check-in at the hotel & stay overnight.
DAY 6
Leisurely breakfast at the hotel followed by a full day tour of Fort - Jaisal. The only living fort in the world. A home to thousands of locals, the Jaisal Fort is a perfect place to witness how a well-planned fort looks like. Visit old Havelis & temples during the tour. Later in the afternoon, take an excursion to Sam Sand Dunes (Thar Desert) and take a ride on Ship of desert - Camels. Return to hotel & stay overnight.
DAY 7
After breakfast, Check-out & drive to Jodhpur (300 Kms / 5.5 Hours). Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel & later in the day, take a guided tour of Jodhpur visiting a Mamoth Fort - Mehrangarh Fort of Jodhpur followed by a visit to an ancient white marble Jain temple. Evening free to explore the local market of Jodhpur. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 8
Leisurely breakfast at the hotel & later check-out. Drive to Udaipur (260 Kms / 5 Hours). En-route, visit the most facinating Jain Temples of India -Ranakpur Jain Temple. The fine carving & architecture of the temple makes it one of most distinctive Jain Temples in India. Upon arrival in Udaipur, Check-in at the hotel. Later take a half day city tour of Udaipur visiting City Palace Museum, Saheliyon Ki badi, Jagdish Temple followed by evening Boat ride on Lake Pichola. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 9
After breakast, check-out from the hotel & drive to Pushkar. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel followed by a Unique Spititual Walking Tour of Pushkar (Four Religions in a Mile). Overnight stay at the hotel. (This will be your last visited city in your Rajasthan itinerary.
DAY 10
Leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Check-out & transfer to Ajmer (20 Kms / 1 Hour). En-route visit the famous Ajmer Mosque & then transferred to railway station to board your train for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to Hotel / Airport for your onward Journey.
