Bagru is little town 30 Kms far from Jaipur. Known for its unique art of Bagru Block Printing, Bagru has emerged as one of the industrial areas for textile printing in Rajasthan with over a 100 small & large Factories.

Vedic walks' was the first organization that started promoting the art of hand Block printing by creating a unique half / full day workshop at Bagru. Today, with the gaining popularity of such workshops, even locals have started promoting their art at big stages but what goes wrong is the "Staged Workshops" which are set for the explorers at one place. For somebody interest in Indian Handicrafts, this is a must "To do things in Jaipur".

 

We at Vedic Walks, with our long lasting association with the community offer a unique workshop which is not restricted to one shed or a factory. In our workshop, you get to visit over 5-7 local houses, with each one of them having their own expertise in one or the other skills set like making natural colors, carving designs on the wooden blocks, printing the blocks on cloth, boiling the cloth after printing process.
